Paints - 

We want to make a palette of metallic colors so, either the Mica Tray which, has a full array of metallics OR the Sakura Gold and Sakura Silver.  If you have the "Cake" dishes of Silver or Gold, those will work well also.

Paper -  

We will be using a natural + black OR navy) colored Shuen paper for our Orchid compositions and we will need extra smaller sheets to practice on. 

7)  2 - one third (18"X27") cut sheets of natural colored Xuan for practice AND, if you are using a dark colored Xuan you will need 2 one-third cut sheets of dark single-ply colored Xuan paper from OAS for your final composition -

 5)  Several Small sheets (ie., 9"X12") of paper for practice AND at least 2 one-third cut sheets (18”X27”) for the final compositions. 

 

We will be using double-ply raw "Jade Plate" Xuan paper from OAS but, the "Vintage AO" 1.5 ply raw Xuan paper will be also demonstrated on to show effects on both thickness' of handmade paper.
